Registered Sex Offender Arrested for Not Meeting Registration Requirements

Registered sex offender Anthony Dale Andrews, 42, was arrested on Thursday on a warrant for not meeting registration requirements.
In 2006, Andrews was convicted of sexual battery against a minor between 12 and 15 years of age.
On August 23, 2024, Andrews re-registered as a sex offender and provided Grace Market Place as a transient address. Andrews reportedly absconded from Grace from September 2024 through January 2025 and did not complete his biannual registration in January 2025.
Andrews was initially charged with five counts of failing to report his address for each month and one count of failing to re-register every six months. Four of Andrews' charges were dropped before the warrant was served, and he is now facing two counts of failing to register as required.

In 2008, Andrews was found guilty of failing to register as a sex offender.
Andrews’ bond is set at $50,000.
Andrews has an arraignment scheduled for April 15.
