There has been an increase in phishing scams targeting students by impersonating the Financial Aid Office. To protect yourself, please follow these tips: 

1.Verify the Source: Ensure any communication about your financial aid is from an official channel. If unsure, contact the Financial Aid Office directly.

2.Watch for Red Flags: Be cautious of messages creating urgency or requesting information through insecure channels.

3.Protect Your Information: Do not click links or share personal details unless you are certain of the sender’s legitimacy. We will never ask for sensitive information via email.

Report suspicious emails by clicking the Report icon in your email toolbar when viewing the phishing message.
