Sex Offender Convicted and Sentenced to Two Years in Prison for Failing to Register

On February 27, registered sex offender Nathaniel Latson, 60, was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

This is Latson’s sixth conviction for sex offender registration violations.

Latson first registered as a sex offender in 1994 following a conviction for sexual battery.

Latson is required to update his sex offender registration every three months, but didn't do so in December 2024.

Latson is scheduled to be released on August 27, 2027.
