Veterans for Peace Invites You to Celebrate the Winter Season at the 38th Annual Winter Solstice Peace Concert

Our local chapter of Veterans for Peace invites you to their 38th Annual Winter Solstice Celebration, which is coming up on the actual Winter Solstice – the longest night of the year - Saturday, December 21, 2024. The event is an opportunity for the community to gather for a heartwarming evening of reflection, music, and tradition, all focused on promoting lasting peace until the next Solstice. The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is hosting the event and doors open at 7pm.

Highlights of the evening include:
• Live performances showcasing music and storytelling.
• Seasonal rituals celebrating hope, renewal, and community.
• Opportunities for attendees of all ages to connect and engage.
“This annual celebration is a time-honored tradition for our community,” said VFP Chapter 14’s President, Scott Camil. “It’s an evening where we can pause to reflect, share moments of joy, and celebrate the beauty of peace together.”
