Williston Eighteen-Year-Old Arrested in Gainesville for Property Damage, Robbery and Battery

Jerrian Damar Penny, 18, was arrested last week and charged with domestic battery, robbery, and property damage. 

Penny had gone to the victim’s residence in an attempt to restart their relationship. While at the residence, Penny reportedly snatched the victim’s phone and threw it to the ground after looking through it. 

Penny asked the victim if she was talking to someone else and reportedly choked her against a wall. 

Gainesville Police Department (GPD) Officer Brandon Fowler reported that Penny “did not want to be advised of his Miranda rights and declined to answer any questions or make any statements.”

Penny’s first appearance order states he’s from Williston. 

Penny’s bond is set at $32,000.
