Williston Man Arrested for Domestic Battery in Gainesville
Jesse Waylon Fulks, 35, was arrested on January 11 and charged with domestic battery.
The arrest report states Fulks and the victim were in an argument over alcohol consumption but doesn’t specifically state whose alcohol consumption the argument was over.
During the argument, Fulks reportedly hit the victim’s hand, knocking a coffee cup she was holding to the ground. Fulks then got in the victim’s face, bumped his chest against her and spat on her face.
Fulks told law enforcement he wanted to do a police interview. The arrest report states Fulks “admitted to hitting the victim’s hand and pushing her back with his chest and advised he ‘only knocked the tea out of her hand.’”
Fulks was released on recognizance under the condition he not contact the victim.
On January 18, Fulks notified the court he checked himself into a mental health and substance abuse treatment center.
Court records show Fulks' registered address is in Williston and he works as a Hardee's kitchen manager.
